Camel Valley “Cornwall” Brut 2012

Super refreshing bubbly to savour; a gorgeous ode to the English apple.

Camel Valley’s flagship “Cornwall” Brut 2012 is a stunning blend of three English-grown grapes to create a truly fruity wine. Bursting with fleshy white apple fruits, the wine retains its refreshing acidity from the grape crushing process. The result is a very “more-ish”, characterful sparkling wine.

Texture wise, it’s smooth and full in the mouthfeel but it’s also delicate, which makes the experience intriguing. These textures in the mouth are, to me, what makes Camel Valley a world-class, unique winery.

Great value and IWC silver medal winner (£24.95 from Camel Valley estate, Jan 2015).

Serve with…

…any white meat. Incredibly versatile in the food department, offering a beautiful contrast to roasted vegetables as well. Would highly recommend pairing with turkey – mouthwatering!
