Waitrose Brut NV Champagne

Fruity and refined house Champagne that’s excellent value for money.

Golden coloured, fruit-forward Champagne. The zesty fruits of the Chardonnay grape are present, bringing zest and refreshment to the glass. However, wild berry character from the Pinot Noir dominates.

Full, dry, well-structured and excellent for its price. Light creaminess from the lees but not too toasty – quite elegant. Definitely favouring fruit over oak and lees influence.

Excellent as an aperitif, or match with delicate dishes or cheese. Ideally serve at 8oC.

Serve with…

…salmon blinis, Beluga caviar, or other delicate savoury dishes that, while subtle, are full of refined flavour.
